We are looking for a Bilingual Recruiter / HR Assistant who is organized, dependable, professional, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for recruiting qualified candidates while also assisting with general HR and administrative functions. Qualifications Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish . High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of recruiting experience ; HR experience is strongly preferred. Experience recruiting for construction or skilled-trade positions is a plus. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook . QuickBooks experience is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong work ethic and professional attitude. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Recruiting Responsibilities Manage the recruiting process from beginning to end. Create, post, and maintain job advertisements on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Facebook, and other recruiting platforms. Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates. Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews with applicants. Communicate with candidates regarding job requirements, pay rates, schedules, benefits, and next steps in the hiring process. Schedule interviews and field tests with candidates and supervisors. Coordinate pre-employment drug screenings and background/MVR checks when required. Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process. Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
