Description We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support staffing initiatives for a healthcare organization in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a recruiting specialist who can manage staffing activities from outreach through offer coordination while helping build a strong candidate experience. The role focuses on attracting strong talent, partnering with hiring teams, and maintaining an organized, efficient recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned openings, from intake discussions and sourcing strategy through interviews and offer support.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines by using proactive sourcing methods, networking, and talent market research.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities, define position expectations, and recommend effective recruiting approaches.
• Screen applicants to evaluate experience, background, and alignment with role requirements before advancing candidates.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and communication to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Promote the employer brand through thoughtful candidate engagement and consistent representation of the organization in the market.
• Track recruiting activity, maintain accurate staffing records, and support reporting related to talent acquisition progress.
• Contribute to recruitment process improvements and assist with staffing-related workflow changes when needed. Requirements
• Experience in talent acquisition, corporate recruiting, or a closely related hiring function.
• Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple requisitions.
• Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage suitable candidates through various channels.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with hiring managers and other internal partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a thoughtful and candidate-focused approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules, records, and recruiting activity.
• Familiarity with employer branding concepts and methods for enhancing candidate attraction.
