This role will focus primarily on recruiting top talent across our retail, corporate, and support functions while providing administrative support to ensure efficient Human Resources operations.
  • Position Summary The Recruiter / HR Administrator is responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring exceptional talent to support Tapper's Fine Jewelry's continued growth and success.
Approximately 75% of the role is dedicated to recruiting and talent acquisition activities and 25% is dedicated to HR administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who excels at sourcing and engaging candidates, delivering an outstanding candidate experience, and supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruiting (75%)
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for retail, corporate, leadership, and support positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Create compelling job postings that reflect Tapper's culture, values, and brand.
  • Source candidates using online platforms, social media, referrals, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Screen applications and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and leadership teams.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screening activities.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers.
  • Develop talent pipelines for frequently recruited positions including sales consultants, guest services, operations, and leadership roles.
  • Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality.
  • Promote Tapper's employer brand and culture throughout all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and recruiting regulations. Human Resources Administration (25%)
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire orientation.
  • Prepare and process employment-related documentation.
  • Maintain HRIS records and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist employees with benefits and general HR inquiries.
  • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Generate HR reports and workforce metrics.
  • Assist with policy administration and employee communications.
  • Maintain training and compliance records.
  • Support audits, unemployment claims, and other HR compliance activities.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and department initiatives.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of agency or corporate recruiting experience.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing job boards and recruitment platforms to source, attract, and engage qualified candidates, including developing effective job postings and optimizing search and sourcing strategies, preferably Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Preferred
  • Experience in luxury retail, jewelry, hospitality, or customer-focused industries.
  • HR administration experience.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification.
  • Experience recruiting for retail sales and leadership positions.
  • Experience participating in or leading HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking System (ATS) implementations; experience with iSolved Systems, a plus.
  • Experience improving recruiting processes and leveraging technology to enhance talent acquisition effectiveness.
  • Compensation Salary Range:
    $55,000
  • $65,000 annually Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, skills, and demonstrated recruiting success.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities based on individual and/or company performance metrics.
