Recruiter Sugar Land, TX (Onsite) 6-Month Contract $30-$40/hr About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a Recruiter to support hiring efforts during a period of organizational growth and acquisition activity. This role will own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, EPC, and other technical positions while partnering closely with hiring managers to drive hiring strategy and deliver a strong candidate experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing a recruiting process from start to finish, and acting as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance Partner directly with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach Conduct candidate screens and assess qualifications, compensation expectations, and overall fit Coordinate interviews and candidate communication throughout the hiring process Provide hiring managers with pipeline updates and recruiting market feedback Maintain ATS records and candidate documentation Support offer creation, offer delivery, and onboarding coordination Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs Serve as a trusted resource for candidates and hiring managers Positions You'll Recruit Primary focus will be technical and industrial positions including: Electrical Engineers Controls Engineers Application Engineers Proposal Engineers EPC-related positions Manufacturing and industrial professionals Other business-critical technical roles What We're Looking For Preferred Experience 2-3+ years of agency/staffing recruiting experience, OR 4-5+ years of corporate recruiting experience Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously Strong sourcing and recruiting fundamentals Experience partnering directly with hiring managers ATS experience Strong Microsoft Office skills Ideal Candidate The successful candidate is: Relationship-driven Consultative rather than transactional Comfortable picking up the phone Able to build credibility with technical hiring managers Curious and willing to learn technical subject matter Organized and process-oriented Self-sufficient and proactive Comfortable managing competing priorities Current Hiring Activity Approximately 5 active requisitions today Expected to fill 6-7 positions through year-end Building succession pipelines for future retirements and growth initiatives Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sugar Land, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
