Job Description

The Director of Safety and Recruiting is an essential part of our overall safety program and a key member of our management team. We are currently looking for an experienced individual with DOT knowledge, ability to think on their feet and good at dealing with people. The Director of Safety and Recruiting will Oversee all aspects of the safety and recruiting department. Work with drivers and operations staff to ensure DOT compliance. Work with the Shop Foreman and mechanics as it relates to the safety of the equipment. Conduct accident investigations and reviews. Work with other members of management to implement and enforce company policies. Be responsible for OSHA and workplace safety. Work with our insurance company in all needed tasks. Prior safety experience is needed. Prior trucking safety experience highly desired.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$1,200.00 - $1,750.00 per week
