Job Description

Director, Recruitment (SGU-SOM and SVM) This is a primarily remote role. University Support Services LLC (USS) isthe North American correspondent for St. George's University (SGU), a leading center of international medical education, drawing studentsand faculty from 140 countries to the island of Grenada, in the West Indies. SGU has helped change lives through its more than 20,000alumni, which include physicians, veterinarians, scientists, and public health and business professionals across the world. WhatYou'll Do The Director of Admissions builds and leads a high-performing, field-based recruitment team supporting SGU's School ofMedicine (SOM) and School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM). This role owns recruitment strategy and execution across a geographically dispersedU.S. territory structure, translating national goals into territory-level plans that drive inquiry growth, application volume, admit rates,and deposit conversion. The Director collaborates closely with the Vice President of Student Recruitment, and the Directors ofAdmissions for Med/Vet. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong people leader, and results-driven operator wholeverages data and process discipline to achieve outcomes and advance SGU's mission. Key Responsibilities StrategicRecruitment & Admissions Leadership Own and execute the U.S. field recruitment strategy across SOM and SVM, drivingperformance at every funnel stage: inquiry application admit deposit. Cultivate territory-level dashboards and reporting thattrack KPIs and translate insights into action. Identify underperforming territories or channels and reallocate resources, coaching,or event investment accordingly. Partner with recruitment, admissions, and marketing leadership to keep field strategy aligned toinstitutional enrollment goals. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of field-basedadmissions/recruitment professionals across multiple U.S. territories. Set clear individual and team KPIs; hold team accountablethrough regular one-on-ones, ride-alongs/event observation, and performance reviews. Ensure consistency of operations, professionalgrowth, and alignment across all team members. External Engagement & Brand Building

• Cultivate and expandrelationships with pre-health/pre-vet advisors, campus clubs, alumni ambassadors, and other referral sources in keyterritories. Represent SGU at recruitment fairs, conferences, and campus events as a visible, credible ambassador of theinstitution. Continuously refine the prospective-student journey - event formats, follow-up communications, advising touchpoints -based on funnel data and field feedback. Collaboration & Mission Alignment

• Work across admissions, financial aid,marketing, and academic affairs to keep the prospective-student experience seamless from first touch to enrollment. Uphold thehighest standards of integrity and compliance in all recruitment activity, consistent with accreditation and institutionalstandards. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 6+ yearsof progressive recruitment or admissions experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated success in meeting orexceeding strategic recruitment goals in higher education; health sciences or medical school experience preferred. Expertise inleveraging data analytics, market research, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to inform recruitment strategy and conversioncampaigns. Strong operational management skills, with experience using dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks. Proventrack record of managing high-performing, geographically dispersed teams and delivering measurable results. Excellent communication,collaboration, and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external influencers. Ability to thrive in afast-paced, matrixed environment while maintaining mission focus. Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 75%) across the U.S.,including evenings and weekends. Work Environment & Travel Primarilyremote role with extensive travel (approx. 30%) across the U.S. for admissions and recruitment activities. Flexibility to workevenings and weekends as required by recruitment events. The anticipated salary range is $120,000 to $130,000 per year. Thefinal salary offered may vary and will be determined based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, andeducation of the successful candidate.
