The New York Delta Alumni Board of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity seeks to hire a Resident Recruitment Manager to assist its active chapter with recruiting male students of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) to join its vibrant fraternity. Who is
New York Delta:
The New York Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp) was founded in 1938 and has operated continuously since that time on RPI's campus in Troy, NY. Its members espouse the Cardinal Principles of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. New York Delta wishes to supplement its manpower with a Recruitment Manager to maximize recruiting potential. What it is that you'll do: As a Resident Recruitment Manager, you will be leading the chapter's recruitment program for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters while engaging New York Delta chapter members to drive growth. You will teach fundamental sales skills and best practices for all recruitment phases and handle logistics of recruitment events. The goal is to find leaders on campus to join New York Delta and coach chapter members to coordinate chapter-winning on their own strategies.
Basic qualifications and expectations:
▪ Bachelor's Degree or in the pursuit of one with an aligned graduation date ▪ 1+ years of fraternity/sorority leadership experience (SigEp-specific leadership not required but desirable) ▪ Proven track record of success in relationship-building, both individually and as part of a team ▪ Experience managing recruitment, marketing, or other engagement-based campaigns ▪ Goal-oriented mindset ▪ Owns a vehicle and operates under a current driver's license ▪ Living in New York Delta's chapter house is required Desired skills: ▪ Strong verbal communication skills ▪ Experience recruiting on a smaller, technically-focused campus ▪ Experience in executing long-term projects ▪ History of engaging key stakeholders ▪ Effective planning and logistical skills Compensation and benefits: ▪
Compensation:
o Total compensation of up to $7,000 per month with a guaranteed base of $4,000-$5,000 per month and a total bonus of up to $20,000-$30,000 based on qualifications and delivery of targeted chapter recruitment levels. ▪
Benefits:
A single-person room will be provided at no cost in New York's Delta's chapter house in Troy, NY for the 9-month length of the position. ▪
Paid-time Off and Holidays:
Two weeks paid time-off plus federal holidays.
Work specifications:
▪ This is a full-time, salary-exempt position, paid twice per month ▪ 10-month commitment from mid-August to mid-May (specific dates to be mutually agreed to) with the potential to renew for another academic year
