Summary Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities for all levels of personnel and participates in meeting the educational need for the network. Job Duties Conducts centralized orientation programming for all levels of clinical personnel. Serves as an educational consultant for leadership and staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, regulatory compliance, professional development, and other assigned committee work. Assists in the development of newly licensed registered nurses' transition to practice by engaging in the Nurse Residency Program as a Tales from the Bedside facilitator, EBP Project facilitator, NRP faculty, and writer for accreditation.. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs and utilizes methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals. Utilizes learner evaluation data, stakeholder feedback, and peer input to improve learning outcomes. Conducts and analyzes formal and informal learning needs with leadership and staff; develops and implements revisions as necessary. Maintains accurate educational records in accordance with hospital and departmental policies. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in nursing, education, or relevant field. 2 years of relevant clinical experience and 1 year of education/training experiences. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) Knowledge of adult learning principles Ability to learn new knowledge quickly.
