The Learning & Development Specialist supports employee success by coordinating, delivering, tracking, and continuously improving training and development programs across the Bank. This position partners with department leaders, mentors, and subject matter experts to ensure employees receive effective onboarding, operational, compliance, and professional development training. The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for maintaining learning records, supporting regulatory training requirements, developing training resources, facilitating learning programs, and assisting with employee development initiatives that promote organizational effectiveness and exceptional customer service. Paid Federal Holidays Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of banking, training, coaching, mentoring, or related experience. Some travel is required to branch locations to provide on-site training and support. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications. Teller and/or deposit account opening experience. Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, or blended learning programs. Experience maintaining training records or learning management systems. Knowledge of banking regulations, operations, and compliance requirements.
