Your leadership and hands-on skills will help maintain high standards of animal handling, customer service, and facility management. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily kennel operations, ensuring efficient and smooth workflows Support team members in animal handling, dog training, pet grooming, and behavior management Ensure proper animal restraint and safety protocols are followed during all interactions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, pet boarding areas, and common spaces in accordance with health standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' questions and needs with professionalism and enthusiasm Help coordinate pet care routines such as feeding, exercise, medication administration, and outdoor activities Assist with team lifting and heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies, equipment, or animal transport Qualifications Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling is preferred Knowledge of kennel operations, pet grooming, animal restraint techniques, and behavior management Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions Experience with animal care facility sanitization and pet boarding procedures Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform tasks requiring team lifting or manual labor This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in animal care while making a positive impact on pets and their owners.
