On-site at our established dog daycare facility About the Opportunity We are an established dog daycare and boarding facility looking for an experienced, reliable, and caring Professional Dog Groomer to join our team. We already have a dedicated grooming space set up inside our facility, along with an existing customer base of dog daycare and boarding clients. We are looking for the right groomer to help us grow our grooming services. This is a great opportunity for a groomer who wants the flexibility of an appointment-based schedule without having to open and operate their own grooming salon. Compensation 50% commission on grooming service revenue 100% of your tips No booth/chair rental fee Existing daycare and boarding customers provide opportunities to build a regular grooming clientele Additional earning potential as grooming demand grows Schedule This is a part-time, full time flexible, appointment-based position. You do not need to work a traditional 8-hour shift when there are no grooming appointments. Your schedule will be coordinated around booked grooming appointments and customer demand. Availability on some weekends is a plus. Responsibilities Provide professional bathing, brushing, haircuts, trimming and styling based on breed and customer requests Nail trimming/grinding and basic grooming services Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments Discuss grooming requests and expectations with customers when necessary Recognize skin, coat or behavioral concerns and communicate them appropriately Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized grooming area Properly clean and sanitize grooming equipment between dogs Provide gentle, humane and patient handling at all times Communicate with our daycare team regarding appointments and completed services Help create a positive experience that encourages customers to return for future grooming appointments

Qualifications Required:

5 years Professional dog grooming experience Ability to perform full-service grooming independently Experience working with multiple breeds, coat types and grooming styles Knowledge of safe dog handling and grooming practices Reliable and punctual Strong attention to detail Good communication and customer-service skills Comfortable working around dogs in an active daycare environment

Preferred:
