Camp Ruff It is an enrichment-based, cage-free doggie daycare and boarding facility. We focus on more than simply giving dogs a place to play. Our days include activities that encourage movement, problem-solving, confidence-building, and healthy socialization. On July 27, we moved into our brand-new, 12,000+ square-foot facility, and we're growing our team to help care for even more dogs! We are hiring year-round, part-time and full-time Doggie Daycare Attendants for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. This is not a seasonal position. What This Job Is Really Like Your number one priority will always be the dogs. You'll supervise playgroups, lead enrichment activities, keep dogs safe and engaged, clean and maintain play areas, and give every dog the care, attention, and respect they deserve. We can teach you how to do the job. We cannot teach you to genuinely love dogs. This job includes plenty of dog snuggles, but it also involves a lot of cleaning, constant movement, loud barking, slobber, accidents, and hard work. If that still sounds like a great day to you, keep reading. What We're Looking For You must be able to: Confidently work with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels Closely supervise playgroups and recognize when a dog needs support or a break Help lead enrichment activities, including puzzles, sensory experiences, crafts, photoshoots, and confidence-building exercises Take initiative and manage your assigned area without constant supervision Follow instructions, safety procedures, and established routines Clean thoroughly throughout your shift Work quickly and stay calm in a busy environment Bend, move quickly, lift up to 40 pounds, and remain on your feet for 7-8 hours Work well with a team and communicate clearly Arrive on time and have reliable transportation Work a flexible schedule between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Work some weekends and holidays, which are our busiest times Previous professional animal-care experience is a plus, but it is not required. Reliability, good judgment, a strong work ethic, and a genuine love of dogs matter most. Why Work at Camp Ruff It? Camp Ruff It has cared for dogs in our community since 2010 and has been under new ownership since 2022. We offer hands-on training and real opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the company.
