Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant - Part-Time or Full-Time About Doggy Days Doggy Days is a 9,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor dog daycare and boarding facility under new ownership as of March 2026. We are focused on raising our standards, improving our facility and operations, and building a dependable team of hardworking, dog-savvy individuals who take pride in providing excellent care. Position Overview We are looking to hire 1-2 Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendants to support our daycare and boarding operations. This is an active, hands-on position working directly with dogs while helping maintain a clean, safe, organized, and structured environment. Team members are expected to stay engaged throughout their entire shift. You will spend a significant amount of time on your feet supervising dogs, cleaning, moving dogs throughout the facility, and completing daily care routines. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Available Shifts - 10:30AM to 6:30PM - 2PM to 9PM Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Weekend availability is required. Doggy Days operates 365 days per year, including weekends and holidays, so some holiday availability will be required. Pay & Perks $16-$17 per hour, plus tips Part-time and full-time opportunities Opportunities for increased responsibility and growth Join a growing business under new ownership Work in an active, team-oriented environment with dogs every day Responsibilities Supervise dogs during group play and throughout the facility Monitor dog behavior to maintain safe and appropriate interactions Recognize and respond appropriately to signs of stress, overstimulation, or conflict Participate actively in managing daycare playgroups Maintain clean and sanitary play areas, kennels, yards, and common spaces Clean accidents and complete routine cleaning throughout the shift Follow established sanitation and safety procedures Complete feeding, medication, and general care routines as assigned Assist with morning and evening boarding routines Move and handle dogs safely throughout the facility Follow individual care instructions for daycare and boarding dogs Communicate clearly with coworkers and help keep daily operations running smoothly Requirements Previous hands-on experience working with dogs is required Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels Able to remain calm and confident in a loud, busy, high-energy environment Comfortable cleaning regularly throughout the shift Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain physically active for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed Able to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols Must be 18 years of age or older Who We're Looking For The right person for this position: Genuinely enjoys working with dogs Understands that professional dog care involves cleaning, structure, safety, and attention to detail—not just playing with dogs Shows up on time and ready to work Takes pride in keeping their work environment clean and organized Pays attention to dog behavior and surroundings Communicates well with coworkers Works well as part of a team Takes initiative and stays productive without needing constant direction Is open to feedback, training, and continued growth What to Expect Dog daycare and boarding is fast-paced, physical work.
