In this role, you will oversee daily salon operations, coordinate grooming appointments, and maintain a welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Responsibilities Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating grooming services Supervise and support grooming staff, ensuring high-quality pet styling and customer service Train team members in pet handling, animal restraint, pet coat styling, and grooming techniques Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their needs and provide updates on pet care progress Ensure all pets are handled safely using animal handling best practices and proper restraint techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment, adhering to health and safety standards Oversee inventory management of grooming supplies, pet products, and equipment maintenance Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment setup or moving supplies as needed Promote a positive team culture focused on animal welfare, customer satisfaction, and professional growth Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Background in veterinary or animal care fields such as veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or veterinary experience is highly desirable Strong dog handling skills and familiarity with companion animal handling techniques Knowledge of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming procedures Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for equipment or supplies Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for providing outstanding pet care experiences Prior experience in dog training or equine experience is a plus but not required Valid certifications related to animal handling or grooming are advantageous Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier pet grooming services while fostering a caring environment for animals and their owners.
