Job Description

Ally 4 Pets, LLC is expanding our pet care team and looking for reliable, animal-loving people to join us. This role is a great fit if you love spending time with dogs and cats, take pride in being dependable, and can commit to a consistent schedule. We provide professional dog walking and in-home pet sitting throughout Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Arnold, Pasadena, Annapolis, Odenton, and Gambrills, and we focus on building lasting relationships with both the pets we care for and the families who rely on us. Whenever possible, we pair you with clients already in our system as well as new clients we bring on, so you can build familiarity with the same pets and households over time. The Role As a member of our walking and sitting team, your day-to-day will include: Traveling to clients' homes for pre-scheduled walks and pet care visits Giving dogs safe, appropriately-paced exercise tailored to their individual needs Handling feeding, fresh water, and basic pet care, plus offering companionship during visits Following each pet's personalized care plan through our mobile scheduling app Sending clients photo updates and visit recaps through their client portal after every appointment Securing each home properly before leaving, per the client's instructions Representing Ally 4 Pets with a high standard of professionalism and customer care A Day in the Life Before heading out, you'll confirm you have everything needed to access each client's home for the day, then head to your first scheduled visit. Every visit is customized to that household's pets and instructions, which are provided in our app- any questions can be directed to the owner or worked out with the client at the meet-and-greet or through their portal. Each visit count and time varies by client; some households need just one visit a day, others need up to four. After each stop, you'll secure the home as instructed, mark the visit complete in the app, send the client a quick note on how the visit went, and head to your next assignment. Availability We Need Because most walks happen midday, weekday daytime availability is the core requirement. Pet sitting visits (for clients who need care outside the midday window) generally fall into four windows: 6-9 AM, 11 AM-3 PM, 4-7 PM, and 7-9 PM. We're looking for team members who can commit to: A minimum of 3 days each week Core hours of roughly 10:00 AM-3:00 PM, when the bulk of our midday visits are scheduled Two weekend days per month Coverage on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day) There may also be opportunities to pick up extra morning, evening, or vacation-coverage visits depending on client volume. Pay Pay generally falls between $15 and $30 per hour, depending on the type and timing of visits Pay periods run from the 1st-15th and the 16th-end of month Payouts are typically issued within 3 business days of each period closing What We're Looking For Minimum age 21 (required for insurance purposes) Valid driver's license, plus access to a reliable vehicle that's insured and currently registered Daily internet access, with the ability to return emails and phone calls promptly Clear, professional communication with proper grammar when corresponding with clients about their visits A smartphone capable of running our mobile app in the field Comfort navigating scheduling and messaging apps Familiarity with our service area- Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Arnold, Pasadena, Annapolis, Odenton, and Gambrills Professional references on request Able to submit a current background check to Ally 4 Pets prior to being hired Willing to complete our online Pet First Aid & CPR training (course link provided upon hire) Able to commit to at least 6 months in the role Not currently freelancing or working for another pet sitting/dog walking company A bonus if you enjoy community involvement, networking, or helping spread the word about our services.
