Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Assess each pet's condition to identify any health concerns or behavioral issues requiring special attention Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide after-care advice Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize workflow and minimize wait times Assist with pet handling, training support, or veterinary-related tasks as needed to support overall animal care Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of dog handling techniques Knowledge of animal care practices, including pet grooming, animal restraint, and basic health assessments Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus, especially if familiar with veterinary procedures or veterinary experience Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as grooming equipment or large dogs safely and comfortably Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members Animal handling skills across various breeds and temperaments, including kennel experience or pet sitting background Strong attention to detail combined with energetic enthusiasm for working with animals daily Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming!
