We are a small and highly-regarded boarding and play care facility in Swannanoa Nc. We will be hiring for one full time position. All kennel positions include play care supervision as well as the care and feeding of our boarding pets. A strong candidate will have good people skills, excellent dog mangement skills, and a curiosity about how dogs think and feel. • Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
• Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules and specific requirements
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing pets
• Administer medications as directed including injections and wound care as needed
• Maintain accurate records of animal intake, feeding, and medical treatments
• checking dogs in and out. Talking with owners about how to best care for thier pets ## Experience
• Previous experience in animal care or handling is required
• Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
• Familiarity with dog handling techniques is a plus
• Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
• Experience working in a veterinary setting or kennel environment is advantageous

Pay:

$23.00
