Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment Exercise dogs regularly through walks or play sessions to promote physical health and mental stimulation Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress Support pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when required Monitor animals' health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary or supervisory staff promptly Qualifications Prior experience with animal handling, kennel work, or pet sitting is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Experience working as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant demonstrates valuable animal care skills Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or animals of various sizes Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Familiarity with pet grooming, animal restraint, and basic veterinary practices is advantageous A genuine passion for animal welfare combined with reliability, patience, and attention to detail Embark on a fulfilling career where your love for animals makes a real difference!
