Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a strong understanding of pet care. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets receive the highest standard bath and care while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role is essential in providing comfort to pets during their bathing process and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities Gently bathe, rinse, and dry pets, ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Brush and comb fur to remove tangles and mats, promoting healthy skin and coat. After Training Trim nails and clean ears as part of the grooming routine. After Training Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing towels and grooming tools. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and any observations made during grooming. Assist in restraining animals safely when necessary to ensure a stress-free experience for both the pet and the bather. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure all animals are cared for properly. Qualifications Experience in animal care or pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets. Previous experience in pet sitting, veterinary technician roles, or kennel work is advantageous. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions. A passion for working with animals, demonstrating patience and empathy towards them. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
