Summary/Responsibilites As a Pet Sitter at Comfort at Home Pet Services, you will be responsible for caring for pets in their home environment, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Provide attentive care to pets in their home environment, including feeding, walking, and playtime. Administer medications as directed by pet owners or veterinarians. Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during visits. Maintain cleanliness in the pet's living area and manage waste disposal responsibly. Handle animals with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Be prepared to lift or assist larger animals as needed during care routines. This role is vital to our mission of delivering personalized pet care and building trust with pet owners. Qualifications Experience in animal care is preferred. Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners. Knowledge of animal handling techniques and safety protocols. Ability to administer basic first aid or medications if required. Comfortable working with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and birds. Physical ability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting and extended periods of walking or standing. Valid Drivers License and your own transpertation to drive from location to location. Clear criminal background. Cell phone with Internet and texting capabilities.
