Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional care for our furry friends! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for animals in our pet care facility. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure each pet receives the highest standard of care, from feeding and cleaning to handling and enrichment activities. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, grooming, and administering medications as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and sanitation protocols Handle animals gently and confidently during routine activities such as walking, training, or restraint to ensure safety and comfort Monitor animal behavior for signs of stress or illness, reporting concerns promptly to veterinary staff or supervisors Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and well-being Experience Previous animal care experience or background is highly valued Experience in cleaning after multiple animals and animal handling enhances your ability to excel in this role Kennel experience or working in a pet care facility provides a strong foundation for daily responsibilities Familiarity with animal restraint techniques, pet grooming, and animal behavior management is beneficial Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong customer service skills combined with a passion for animal care are essential for success in this energetic environment Join us to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners!
