Job Description

Dog Daycare Attendant 8889 Virginia Avenue, Newport, VA 24128 From $13 an hour

Part-time From $13 an hour
Part-time Dog Daycare Attendant Flying Fur is a dog daycare, boarding and training facility that has been in business since 2008.

We are located 4 miles west of Blacksburg on Route 460 West. We are looking for someone to work 20 hours or more per week. Must be available for holidays. Weekday shifts are 7AM-noon and 2PM-6PM. Weekend shifts are 7AM-1PM and 6PM-8PM.

Requirements:

Must be patient and put the well-being of the dogs in our care above all else
Must be punctual, reliable and able to multi-task
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to be on your feet for 4 to 5 hours
Must be willing to get your hands dirty
Must have reliable transportation

Duties:

Clean up after the dogs
Feed & water the dogs, clean dishes
Leash & crate dogs
Supervise dog-dog play
Bathe the dogs
Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the facility
