Job Description

Are you burned out grooming 8-10 dogs a day to make ends meet? Are you tired of not having the freedom to advance your career? We are currently looking for a professional and career-oriented groomer to join our new salon Bows and Biscuits in Burlington. Part time and full time are available This is a fast-paced grooming environment focused on hand scissoring skills, breed cuts, and high quality finish on all pets. The ideal candidate will have at least three years grooming experience in a professional setting. We are looking for someone respectful, responsible, and able to work as a team at all times. Most of all we are looking for a someone who can grow their career with us. Groomers are expected to do 5-6 groom dogs a day (depending on experience), answer phones, make appointments, and clean up after themselves when they are finished with the day. We hold ourselves and our salon to higher standards and require all of our groomers to obtain a Fear Free Certification and an
AKC S.A.F.E
Certification. Bows and Biscuits will cover the cost of these certifications after 90 days of employment. Continuing education is a large part of being a groomer with Bows and Biscuits. You must have the fire to take your career all the way. We want a groomer who wants to become the best version of themselves and knows you never stop learning in this incredible career. Between our two locations in Burlington and Marysville, we currently have 2 canine estheticians, a CPG and an ACPG from the IPG. 3 employees are Advanced First Aid Certified and 3 groomers are begining their cat grooming certifications. Continuing education is reimbursed as certificates are gained. Our prices reflect the dedication and skill we put into our groom. Small dog pricing begins between $100-$120. We have amazing clients who tip generously and rebook regularly. Other than some standard benefits (like a matched 401k, 6 paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation, 50% company paid dental and vision insurance, sick time, parental leave, bereavement, etc.), we also have lunch parties when we hit goals, a Christmas party in January, and team building quarterly. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Supply your own personal tools. Shampoos, products, dryers, etc are all provided for you with deliveries each month. W2 commisioned position at 40%. $40,000.00 - $70,408.00 per year
