The position is open immediately and would consistently include every other weekend as well as weekday shifts. Different from all-day group style play, Enrichment Daycare engages dogs both physically and mentally. The schedule for the day is broken up into hour periods to give the dogs adequate exercise, stimulation, and rest time. Dogs are separated into daycare packs by size and temperament levels to give them the most productive time in daycare. You will be in a daycare pack by yourself with 12-15 dogs. During Enrichment sessions, you will do activities such as agility (hurdles, weave polls, tunnels) platforms, brain work (rehearsing tricks & commands), scent work, games (tug-o-war, fetch) as well as taking photos. What your job duties will include: Adequately follow directions for feeding time and medication administration Provide potty breaks and individual services for our overnight guests Maintain a clean, well-kept environment including boarding suites Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs in playgroups Take photos and create report cards for our membership dogs Work with dogs on enrichment daycare activities in small groups Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Experience in animal handling and care is a plus, but not required Familiarity with kennel operations and animal restraint techniques Customer service skills to interact with pet owners Willingness to learn dog training Qualities we look for: Compassionate

Details:

This position is permanent, NOT seasonal (we will need consistent help come fall) Around 25 hours per week Must be able to work Monday
