• Overview:

• We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our animal care unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of our furry friends. • Must have weeknight AND weekend morning or night availability to be considered for this position, pay will be determined by experience

• MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER TO APPLY.

• Duties:

• Assist with the daily care of animals in our kennel facility, including feeding, walking, and providing fresh water.
• Clean and disinfect kennels, food and water bowls, and other equipment to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns or issues to management.
• Assist with animal grooming, including bathing and brushing.
• Ensure the safe and humane handling and restraint of animals, following established protocols.
• Perform heavy lifting and bending as required, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Qualifications:

• Experience with animal care and handling preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform heavy lifting and bending as required.
