Position Overview We are looking for a passionate and motivated Professional Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to continue learning, hardworking, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their owners succeed. We are seeking trainers who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a collaborative team, and are committed to professional growth within the dog training industry. Requirements Previous dog training experience is required. Strong understanding of canine behavior and learning theory. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Ability to safely manage dogs with behavioral challenges, including reactivity and aggression. Must be willing to continue learning and developing training skills. Responsibilities Conduct private training lessons and owner coaching sessions. Train dogs enrolled in Board & Train programs. Create and implement individualized training plans. Work with puppies, basic obedience cases, and behavioral modification cases. Maintain accurate training notes and progress reports. Communicate professionally with clients regarding training goals and progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care. Assist with evaluations and consultations when needed.
