Role Description The Dog Supervisor and Floor Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Nampa, ID, responsible for overseeing dogs in daycare and boarding areas and ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring dog behavior, supervising group play, managing dog introductions, and promptly addressing any signs of stress or conflict. This role includes cleaning and sanitizing play areas, rooms, kennels, and common spaces, as well as feeding, watering, and following any special care instructions for dogs. The Dog Supervisor and Floor Attendant interacts with clients during drop-off and pick-up, provides clear updates on their dogs, and follows facility policies and procedures. The position requires working on your feet for extended periods, safely handling dogs of varying sizes, and collaborating with the team to maintain high standards of animal care and customer service. Qualifications Demonstrated comfort handling and supervising multiple dogs in a group setting, with knowledge of basic canine body language and behavior. Ability to maintain clean, safe, and organized indoor and outdoor environments, including routine cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members. Reliability in following schedules and care instructions, and safety procedures. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or manage dogs of various sizes throughout a shift. Experience in animal care, kennel work, veterinary support, or pet services is preferred but not required. Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed for full-time coverage
