Overview Join our dynamic team as a Boarding Specialist, where your passion for animals and dedication to exceptional pet care will shine! In this vital role, you will be the primary caregiver responsible for ensuring our furry guests are safe, comfortable, and well-loved during their stay. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive environment for pets and peace of mind for their owners. Responsibilities Provide attentive pet care by feeding, administering medications, and monitoring health during boarding stays Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's status, special needs, or concerns while providing excellent customer service Monitor and manage dog groups to ensure safe play Follow all boarding routines, including crate checks, feeding, and treat distribution Assist with morning and evening routines (opening/closing tasks) Communicate clearly with team members and follow written checklists Monitoring dogs for stress, discomfort, or changes in behavior Book reservations, check guests in/out, and process payments/deposits Verify vaccinations and ensure boarding agreements are signed Maintain accurate records using our POS system (intermediate math skills required) Requirements Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfort working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stay active throughout the shift Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience in animal handling multiple animals simultaneously, and outdoor work environments Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with clients Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts; comfort working in all weather conditions This position follows a two‑week rotating schedule: Week 1

Friday and Sunday 7:30-1:30 Week 2

8:30 PM Tuesday
Thursday & Saturday and Sunday 7:30-1:30 You must be 18+ and able to commit for more than 3 months.
