Who We're Looking For The right person must: Be dependable and reliable — this is extremely important to us Have reliable transportation Genuinely love dogs and enjoy working with them Be comfortable speaking and interacting professionally with clients Be energetic, motivated, and ready to work Have a positive attitude and take direction well Be alert and attentive when handling animals Be willing and excited to learn Want a long-term career rather than a temporary job Dog grooming is physical, hands-on work. You will be on your feet, working directly with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Patience, confidence, attention to detail, and a genuine love of animals are essential. We Will Train You We will teach you our methods of safely handling, bathing, drying, prepping, and eventually grooming dogs. Trainees start at $10.00 per hour during training , which typically lasts approximately 4-6 weeks , depending on your progress. Once you demonstrate that you're ready to work independently, you will transition to our commission-based grooming pay structure , where your earning potential increases significantly as your skills, speed, and client base develop. Our established commission groomers have the opportunity to earn a very good weekly income. We Are Looking for Someone Who Wants a Career We invest considerable time and resources into teaching our trainees a professional skill. Because of that investment, we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to build a career with our company and is willing to enter into a written training/employment agreement. We pay our groomers well, treat our employees with respect, and work hard to maintain a positive and enjoyable workplace. Schedule Tuesday-Saturday 8:45 AM-4:00 PM This is an in-person, full-time position. Requirements Reliable transportation is required. Dependable attendance is required. References are required.
