Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Daycare, Boarding and Enrichment Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to dogs in a daycare and boarding setting. Your passion for animals and ability to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our furry clients. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Administer basic animal care, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, to provide a hygienic environment for the dogs. Assist with dog training exercises and reinforce positive behavior through effective handling techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dogs' activities and any concerns that may arise. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, including moving equipment to maintain an organized space. Monitor dog interactions to prevent aggressive behavior and ensure a harmonious atmosphere among all pets. Qualifications Experience in animal care or handling is preferred; familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs. Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling of dogs during grooming or medical procedures. Previous experience in pet care is beneficial but not mandatory.
