to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable hair care products or retail items. Stay current with industry trends in hair coloring techniques, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and hair threading to deliver modern styles. Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing bookings, and upselling retail products to maximize sales opportunities. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling, color theory, and customer communication to foster a collaborative atmosphere. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Proficiency in using salon management software like
MINDBODY
for scheduling and retail transactions. Strong knowledge of hair care products, color theory, and advanced styling techniques including hair extensions and nail care. Skilled in customer service with excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively. Experience with sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe salon environment. Ability to perform diverse services such as hair coloring, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading confidently.
