Responsibilities Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves using straight razors, beard trims, and grooming consultations. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations. Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their preferences and offering expert recommendations on hair care and retail products. Manage appointments efficiently. Assist with front desk duties including client check-in/out, retail sales, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace Qualifications Valid barbering license with current certification to perform barbering services. Proven experience working in the Barber industry with expertise in haircutting, styling, and grooming techniques. Strong understanding of sanitation practices and health regulations within a salon environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs. Skilled in upselling and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality service standards. The Gilbert Barber Shop is located in Historic downtown Gilbert, Az and is conveniently located near restaurants and retail shops. Pay is based on 65/35 commission split average of of 500.00 to 2500.00 per week. Employees will be 1099 employees.

Hours are Tuesday thru Friday 7-5. Saturday 7-3. Sunday and Monday is closed. Expectation is for all barbers to be present during shop hours with a 1 hour lunch break. Lunch hours will vary depending on the busyness of the day. 15 minutes before opening of shop is expected and stay possible after hours to finish all customers.
