Come be part of our beauty team as a Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist, where your enthusiasm and passion for hair care will help create stunning looks and memorable experiences for clients. In this energetic role, you will support senior stylists with daily salon operations, learn the art of hair styling, coloring, and extensions, and develop essential skills in customer service and salon management. Duties Assist senior stylists with preparing clients and maintaining a clean, sanitized work area in accordance with salon sanitation standards. Support with hair treatments including coloring, styling, and extensions by preparing tools and products. Engage with clients through friendly communication, helping to enhance their experience and ensure satisfaction. Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as Vagaro or similar platforms to optimize client flow. Participate in retail sales by recommending hair care products, upselling services, and supporting store management initiatives. Help maintain salon cleanliness and organization at the front desk, including greeting clients and managing client check-in/out procedures. Laundry, dishes, serving coffee, refreshments, ect.. Learn and assist with specialized services such as waxing, and many hair techniques under supervision. Qualifications Previous experience working in the beauty industry or cosmetology background is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential. Basic knowledge of hair care, hair styling, coloring techniques, and hair extensions is advantageous. Familiarity with salon software systems like Vagaro or similar is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members. Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while providing exceptional customer service.
