Responsibilities:

Perform grooming services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and hair cuts to enhance client satisfaction. Manage appointment scheduling using software like Square to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal client flow. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas following health regulations. Provide expert advice on hair care, retail products, and upselling opportunities to boost sales and client loyalty.

Requirements:

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and grooming services. Proficiency in salon software systems such as Square for scheduling and client management. Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively. Experience with retail and upselling to enhance revenue through product recommendations. Familiarity with additional barber services like hot shaves, beard trims, and bald fades. Pay is a higher than average hourly versus commission rate. Additional income is made through service upselling and product sales. Tips are also often generously given by our excellent client base. Preexisting clientele is a plus but not necessarily required. We have a rapidly growing number of clients and current barbers are usually booked solid, creating copious amounts of growth opportunity for a new team member.
