About the role Le Salon is a long-established Palm Beach-area salon seeking a dependable Salon Shampoo Assistant to support our stylists and care for clients. This is a shampoo-only salon support position. It does not include reception, phone, appointment-booking, cutting, coloring, chemical services, or styling. Experience is welcome but not required; paid training is provided. Pay and schedule

• Tipped W-2 employee position
• $12.00
• 14.00 per hour cash wage, depending on experience, plus tips
• Total compensation will always meet or exceed the applicable Florida minimum wage
• Approximately 25-35 hours per week
• Friday and Saturday availability is required
• Additional days and hours will be scheduled based on salon needs Responsibilities
• Shampoo, rinse, and condition clients carefully as directed by the stylist
• Prepare clients with clean capes and towels and help them remain comfortable
• Clean and sanitize shampoo bowls and the surrounding area between clients
• Maintain clean towels and capes, assist with laundry, and restock shampoo supplies
• Sweep and help keep the salon floor clean, safe, and organized
• Support smooth client flow and communicate promptly with stylists
• Follow all salon sanitation, safety, and client-care procedures Requirements
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Friday and Saturday availability
• A gentle, attentive approach to client care
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Willingness to learn and follow sanitation and safety instructions
• English fluency is not required. Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome. Training and safety instructions can be provided in Spanish.
• No Florida cosmetology license is required because this position is confined solely to shampooing and non-cosmetology support duties Benefits
