Use straight razors safely and effectively for precision cuts. Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance the client experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and nail care. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations. Proficiency in makeup application techniques is preferred. Strong understanding of retail math to assist with product sales. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively. Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is a plus. Knowledge of color theory and its application in hairstyling. Experience with straight razor techniques is advantageous. Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive client relationship. A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning within the industry.
