Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled, licensed Educator who is passionate about healthy hair care and committed to excellence in service, leadership, and team development. This individual will play a dual role: performing client services behind the chair and managing day-to-day operations, team performance, and overall salon excellence. Key Responsibilities Client Services & Technical Skills Perform comprehensive consultations with clients across all hair types: relaxed, natural, transitioning, fine, or textured. Execute professional shampooing, deep conditioning, scalp treatments, and detangling. Deliver trims, basic hair shaping, and prepare hair for styling or protective installation. Provide clean, tension-appropriate braid-downs and foundational styles. Recommend hair care regimens and maintenance tips tailored to client needs. Team Leadership & Training Oversee and mentors lead stylist, hair associates and unbraiders. Conduct onboarding and continuous training sessions to maintain technical and customer service standards. Monitor team performance and morale; support in resolving client or internal team issues effectively. Salon Management Lead team meetings, training, and salon events with structure and clarity. Assist with salon cleanliness, client flow, and back-end operations. Support with opening/closing responsibilities as needed. Operations & Problem Solving Resolve client concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Research trends, new techniques, and hair care solutions to keep the team on the cutting edge. Contribute to strategic improvements and daily decision-making with strong salon knowledge. Qualifications Current Cosmetology License in the state of Florida (required) Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on styling experience across all hair types Proven experience leading or managing a salon team Past Experience of installing protective styles Strong technical skills in hair washing, scalp care, detangling, trimming, and braiding Ability to work flexible hours , including evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of inventory tracking, product ordering, and salon workflow systems Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills High level of professionalism, punctuality, and dependability Preferred Previous experience as a salon manager, educator, or senior stylist Familiarity with beauty booking platforms Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Bonus structure for leadership and retail performance Access to ongoing education and training Opportunities for career growth in a growing brand Employee discounts on services and products Creative, uplifting work environment with a team-first culture
