We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and motivated barber or cosmetologist to join our Cedar Rapids team. We are considering only applicants who hold a current, active Iowa barber or cosmetology license and are available to work full time. Both requirements must be met. In this role, you'll work one-on-one with clients in a private, professional setting. You'll provide personalized services for individuals experiencing hair loss, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their appearance. What You'll Do Consult with clients to understand their concerns, preferences, and hair care goals. Provide haircutting, styling, coloring, and maintenance services. Assist clients with non-surgical hair replacement systems and ongoing care. Educate clients about scalp care, hair care, and maintaining their hair replacement systems. Build long-term relationships through attentive service and clear communication. Participate in ongoing education and specialized training. Maintain a clean, professional environment and protect client privacy. Required Qualifications A current, active Iowa barber or cosmetology license. Availability to work a full-time schedule. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate, respectful approach to working with people experiencing hair loss. Professional presentation, reliability, and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and contribute to a supportive team. Willingness to learn specialized hair replacement techniques. Preferred Experience Previous salon or barbershop experience. Hair coloring skills. Experience conducting personalized client consultations. Specialized training is available for the right candidate.
