Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair. If you are passionate about hair and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Provide professional hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
- Recommend appropriate hair care products and treatments to clients
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and coloring
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Adhere to all salon policies and procedures regarding sanitation and safety
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional customer service
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Collaborate with other salon staff members to create a positive and welcoming environment for clients
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a licensed Hair Stylist
- Proficiency in retail math for product sales
- Experience mentoring junior stylists or apprentices
- Familiarity with salon software such as
MINDBODY
for appointment scheduling and client management- Knowledge of nail care techniques is a plus
- Understanding of color theory for hair coloring services
- Ability to sanitate tools and equipment according to industry standards
- Proficiency in hair threading techniques is preferred
- Experience using a straight razor for shaving or trimming facial hair is a plus
