Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber or Stylist to join our dynamic Max & Mia Children's Salon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair cutting skills, customer service, and salon operations. This role requires patience, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional experiences for our little clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair cuts while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities Provide a variety of hair services including long haircuts and fades Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Use salon software such as Mangomint for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients and handling retail sales. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience Requirements Valid MA cosmetology or barbering license is required. Proficiency in a variety of haircuts Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Experience with retail math to assist in managing product sales. Familiarity with salon management practices is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
