Responsibilities Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, extensions, and texturizing treatments using advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color theory principles. Perform specialized services like makeup application and hair threading, to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client loyalty and store revenue through upselling and retail math skills. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized consultations, and ensure a positive experience from start to finish. Assist at the front desk by managing client check-ins/outs, answering inquiries, and supporting overall salon operations. Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative environment. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair care products and techniques. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse styling projects will be a merit. Skilled in hair coloring techniques including color theory application; experience with hair extensions is a plus. Ability to perform hair threading, makeup application confidently. Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration; strong customer service orientation. Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a safe salon environment. Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and store profitability.
