Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations. Utilize salon software such as
MINDBODY
for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and retail math calculations. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, processing payments, and upselling retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, barbering (including straight razor skills), and advanced styling methods. Build strong client relationships through effective communication skills and personalized service to encourage repeat business and positive reviews. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Proficiency in salon software systems such as
MINDBODY
for scheduling and client management. Demonstrated expertise in hair care treatments including coloring, styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application. Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients during consultations and service delivery. Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling products related to hair care and styling tools. Ability to manage store operations or assist with store management duties when needed. Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and sales optimization. Skills in front desk operations such as appointment booking, client check-in/out processes, and handling inquiries professionally. Mentoring abilities to guide less experienced stylists in technical skills like hair threading or advanced haircutting techniques.
