Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and nail care treatments. Conduct pedicures with attention to hygiene, comfort, and client preferences. Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory for personalized designs. Offer additional cosmetology services if desired. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean environment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert recommendations for nail care and other beauty services. Upsell retail products related to nail care and skincare while ensuring excellent customer service. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail technology and beauty treatments through ongoing education. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or nail technician preferred. Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation standards essential. Familiarity with salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures is required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients professionally and confidently. Experience with retail sales and upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Certification in cosmetology or nail technician required.
