We're hiring one full-time hair Stylist and one part-time Stylist/Barber. Are you looking for a shop where you'll stay busy and earn great income? Our Shop has built a loyal client base, and we're consistently booked. We regularly have to turn away walk-in clients because we simply don't have enough staff. Now offering a $500-$1000 sign-on Bonus! (Bonus paid after 60 days of employment) Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, Beard line ups and styling. Utilize the tools to achieve desired hairstyles. Apply knowledge of color theory to create custom color solutions for clients (Optional) Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Manage front desk operations including appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY or other. Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering professional advice. Engage in retail sales by upselling products that complement the services provided. Assist in store management tasks including inventory control and retail math calculations. Offer additional services. Skills Proficient in hair cutting, styling techniques, beard trim and line ups. Familiarity with salon software systems is preferred. Experience with straight razor techniques is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon environment. Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling products.
