Job Overview Hello fellow hairstylists, I am looking for that special someone to work with me in my unique salon. Vintage Hair Design has been located in The Commons of Williamston for 9 years. The old school has been renovated into individual suites with beautiful natural light flowing in. I am located a mile off I96 in beautiful Williamston. I am seeking a professional stylist who loves hair color & cuts for everyone, someone who would bring their own style. This would be chair rental which includes back bar, Wi-Fi & utilities. Serious inquiries to Julie Walker 517-256-6979 Responsibilities Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client's preferences and needs Perform specialized treatments including hair extensions, balayage, highlights, and color correction using sound color theory principles. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations after each service Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their desires and offering personalized recommendations Recommend retail products like hair care items and styling tools to enhance client results and satisfaction Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like Rosy salon software or similar platforms; ensure smooth front desk operations. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse services performed Knowledge of salon software systems such as Rosy salon software for booking and client management Open to various hair care techniques including coloring, styling, and the application of hair extensions Certified in cosmetology with a solid understanding of sanitation practices. Familiarity with advanced techniques in hair color & cutting and retail sales strategies. Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients.
