• Provide professional hair care services including silk presses, natural hair styling, hydration treatments, scalp care services, haircuts, color services, extensions, protective styling, and healthy hair maintenance.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess hair and scalp needs, create customized treatment plans, and recommend appropriate services and home care regimens.
• Educate clients on healthy hair practices, scalp health, product usage, and long-term hair goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation while adhering to all state board regulations and salon policies.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience from consultation through checkout.
• Assist with retail product recommendations and sales to support client results between visits.
• Document client services, recommendations, and progress using salon software.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, continuing education opportunities, and salon events.
• Create and maintain professional content for social media as needed to help promote services and build your clientele.
• Support salon growth initiatives through client retention, referrals, and community engagement. Qualifications
• Current North Carolina Cosmetology License.
• Strong foundation in healthy hair care and professional styling techniques.
• Experience with natural hair, textured hair, silk presses, treatments, and scalp care is preferred.
• Strong communication and consultation skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
• Experience with salon booking software is a plus.

Starting commission structure:

50/50 service commission. Opportunity to increase commission percentage based on performance, retention, professionalism, and client-building efforts. Retail product commission available. Marketing support provided to help attract and retain clients.

Expected Earnings Pay:

$18

• $35+ per hour equivalent (Commission-Based) Compensation varies based on schedule, service volume, and client retention.

Stylists who consistently serve clients, build relationships, and participate in salon growth initiatives have strong earning potential.
