Full Job Description Job Overview:

Camden's Promise Charter School is seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our team. As an Educator, you will be responsible for providing training and education to individuals in the field of cosmetology and esthetics. This is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with aspiring professionals in the beauty industry.

Must have:

New Jersey State Teaching license (Cosmetology)

Cosmetology License Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom lectures and hands-on demonstrations on various topics related to cosmetology and esthetics
• Teach students the skills and techniques required for makeup application, hair threading, hair styling, barbering, hair extensions, and esthetic laser treatment
• Develop lesson plans and curriculum materials to ensure effective learning outcomes
• Provide individualized instruction and guidance to students based on their learning needs
• Assess student performance through practical exams, quizzes, and assignments
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and regulations in the beauty industry
• Collaborate with other educators and staff members to enhance the learning environment

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in cosmetology, esthetics, makeup application, hair threading, hair styling, barbering, hair extensions, and esthetic laser treatment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to students of different skill levels
• Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring beauty professionals
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver interactive presentations
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
