We are looking for talented, motivated hairstylists who are passionate about creating beautiful hair, providing exceptional service, and building lasting relationships with their clients. Our salon specializes in customized color, blonding, lived-in color, balayage, haircuts, blowouts, treatments, and extensions. Rooted offers a supportive, team-oriented environment where stylists can grow their careers, expand their clientele, and express their creativity. Responsibilities Provide professional hair services, including haircuts, blowouts, styling, single-process color, highlights, balayage, lived-in color, glazing, treatments, and extensions based on experience. Perform thorough consultations to understand each client's goals, lifestyle, hair history, and maintenance preferences. Create customized color formulas and services using a strong understanding of color theory. Deliver a welcoming, personalized experience from consultation through checkout. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized station and work area in accordance with New Jersey State Board requirements. Stay current on industry trends, techniques, products, and continuing education. Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, professional salon culture Qualifications Valid New Jersey cosmetology or hairstyling license required. Previous salon experience preferred, but motivated newer stylists with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply. Experience with blonding, balayage, lived-in color, highlighting, haircutting, and styling is preferred. Strong consultation, communication, and customer-service skills. Professional, dependable, organized, and team-oriented. Committed to maintaining excellent sanitation and safety standards. Existing clientele is a plus but not required.
