Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, extensions, and texturizing treatments to meet each client's unique needs. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by adhering to all health regulations and proper sterilization procedures. Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling tips to enhance client satisfaction. Conduct consultations to understand client preferences, explain service options, and upsell retail products like hair care items. Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education on hair coloring techniques, hair threading, makeup application, and barbering skills such as straight razor shaving. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of hair coloring principles based on color theory and advanced styling techniques. Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and understand their desired outcomes. Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe salon environment.
