Job Description
Stylist / Colorist Salon Frei is a modern salon in Sparta built around exceptional work, genuine hospitality, and a belief that luxury doesn't have to feel pretentious. We're intentionally growing our team and looking for stylists and colorists who take pride in their craft, value meaningful client relationships, and want to continue getting better. We believe great salons are built by great people. The Role This is a great fit for someone who produces thoughtful, consistent work, is committed to continuing education, and is intentional about building and maintaining long-term client relationships. Experience matters, but mindset matters more. Whether you've been behind the chair for three years or twenty, we're looking for someone who is curious, coachable, professional, and committed to continually improving their craft. Flexibility, paired with clear expectations around professionalism and accountability. What We're Looking For Current New Jersey Cosmetology License. Strong technical foundation in cutting, color, or both. Commitment to continuing education and improving your craft. Existing clientele or a desire to intentionally build one. Professional, reliable, and easy to work with. Strong listening skills and attention to detail. Ability to build lasting client relationships. Availability that includes some evenings and Saturdays. What You'll Do Deliver thoughtful consultations and customized results. Perform cutting, coloring, and styling services with care and consistency. Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service. Educate guests on maintaining their hair between visits. Continue learning new techniques and refining your craft.
